As the founder of Advantage Learning and Consulting, Clair Townsend brings clients deep experience in the design and implementation of strategically embedded learning programs that incrementally build individual, team and organisational capability and enable high performing workplace cultures to flourish.    

Clair blends expert learning and leadership development knowledge with a down-to-earth style, gained during a career spanning 25+ years in professional and legal services, retail, utilities and contact centres in Australia and the UK. With a focus on return on investment and a track record for building trusted stakeholder relationships, Clair partners with clients to design bespoke learning, leadership and talent development solutions that deliver commercially-sound, pragmatic and effective outcomes. 

Clair holds a Masters degree in Industrial Relations and HRM from the University of Sydney, is a Certified member of AHRI and a qualified business coach. She retains professional certifications across a number of market-leading personal effectiveness and leadership development tools, enabling her to craft customised learning experiences that engage and support learners, embed knowledge gains and demonstrate clear value for her clients.
